An overview of the library resources and services relevant to all the visual arts (including glass/glazing, graphic design, illustration, jewellery)

This guide will take you through resources that are relevant to you as a student in one of the visual arts courses (include glass & glazing, graphic design, illustration, jewellery). Each tab contains info on different resource types or topics. 

This first tab outlines some of the academic skills and support services that are available.

Librarian

Academic support

Book a Librarian:
You can book a one-on-one session with a librarian via Zoom or in person. Some of the areas we can assist include: finding information, student email, Moodle, referencing, and basic computer skills. To book a time, visit the booking page or email library@melbournepolytechnic.edu.au 

Learning Skills Sessions:
Book free, one-on-one Zoom sessions with our literacy and numeracy teachers. For more info on what they cover and how to book, check out the Learning Skills guide.

Studiosity:
Studiosity is online, on-demand, anonymous study help available free of charge to all Melbourne Polytechnic students 24/7.

Students can connect online to chat with an expert teacher or tutor when they need help, or upload a written assignment for feedback within 24 hours. Access Studiosity via Moodle. Check out the Studiosity guide for more info.

ERNI Easy Referencing:
Use ERNI to learn how to reference. It provides extensive examples for a wide variety of resources. Remember if you're stuck, you can always contact the library.
