"America's Leading Magazine on the Art and Politics of the Cinema" presents essays and reviews about international films.

Cinema Scope
Presents interviews, features, and essays on film and video geared to cinephiles seeking an intelligent forum on world cinema. Published quarterly. 

Inside Film
A 'who, what, where and how' guide to success in screen content creation. It's the bible for Australia's filmmakers - essential reading for anyone working in the film and TV industry. Inside Film features exclusive interviews with the creative personalities behind today's most entertaining and stimulating screen content, as well as detailed info about new productions and technologies. Published bimonthly.

Metro Magazine
An international film and screen culture journal specialising in Australasian and Pacific film. The magazine also covers television, video, multimedia, the Internet and radio. ‘Metro Magazine’ is a refereed journal written in a jargon-free style at once accessible to specialists and a general readership. Published quarterly.

Screen Education
Screen Education is the companion magazine to ‘Metro‘ and is a joint venture between the Australian Teachers of Media and the Australian Film Commission. Published quarterly. 

Senses of Cinema
“Established in Melbourne (Australia) in 1999, Senses of Cinema is one of the first online film journals of its kind and has set the standard for professional, high quality film-related content on the Internet.” Free to read online and to subscribe.

Sight & Sound
A publication of the British Film Institute. Feature articles and interviews on recent motion pictures, notes on festivals, book reviews and film and video reviews. 10 issues per year.

Logo: Kanopy, thoughtful entertainment

Kanopy is an online video streaming platform. It has an extensive range of films, including a section on Film Studies (find this under the Browse menu). Please note you may need to be logged into Moodle or student email in order for Kanopy to recognise you as a Melbourne Polytechnic student. Sometimes Kanopy displays titles that you can request the library purchase; please feel free to do so!

LinkedIn Learning has extensive tutorials on Cinematography, Screenwritng, Video Editing, Final Cut, Premiere Pro, as well as general skills development.
