An introduction to using the Kanopy streaming video service.

Ways to view Kanopy

The simplest and easiest hassle-free way to view Kanopy is in your browser on a PC or laptop. Make sure you have the latest Adobe FlashPlayer Plug-in.

Playback is not supported in mobile browsers. Please download the Kanopy app to view from your mobile device.

Remember to set up your account first if you want to watch Kanopy on a device.

Creating a Kanopy Account

You do not need to create a Kanopy account to view simply use the Access Kanopy Here link above. However, it is important that you create a user account to be able to track your progress.  If you complete a one-off registration, you can create your own playlists and clips (select a short excerpt from a video). If you already have FaceBook or Google Accounts you may use these to fast track registration.
