Sign up for free as a member of the State Library of Victoria to access their collection of online resource.

Free journals, databases and ebooks

You can't borrow books from the state library, the main benefit for students are online resources and a quiet place to study.

To borrow from other Victorian TAFE and University libraries:

• Take your Melbourne Polytechnic student ID to the service desk of the library you wish to use
• They will confirm your enrolment by having you log into the student portal
• You will then be issued with a CAVAL card
