Book a Librarian

Our Book A Librarian service is available on Campus or via Zoom.

Some of the support we can offer includes:

  • Library skills – how to use the catalogue, reserve a book or find a journal article
  • Accessing your student portal and Moodle
  • Accessing student email
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office assistance, including Word and Excel

Here are some of the areas where the library can offer support:

  • Renewing loans in person & online
  • Accessing eBooks & Databases
  • Placing reservations in person & online

The ICT helpdesk will assist students with:

  • Setting up hardware and trouble shooting issues - inc. on smartphones
  • Video conferencing software - Zoom & MS Teams
  • Installing software - Office 365

  • Video creation software eg. Kaltura
