Search for an Australian Standard

  1. Go to the Australian Standards website and log in using your Melbourne Polytechnic student email address and chosen password.
  2. You're now ready to begin searching.
  3. If you know the number of the standard you are looking for, type it into the Document Number search box. Otherwise, type a keyword into the Document title or keyword search box.

Two things to remember when you are going through your search results:

  • Get the most recent, up-to-date version of the Australian Standard
  • Get the full Australian Standard that includes all amendments.

Download Australian Standards

Once you've found the right standard you can choose to view online or download it.

You can download as many standards as you like. They will all be marked along the left side with your details.

Remember:

  • Australian Standards are locked to the computer or device you download them on
  • You can't save them to a USB or the cloud
  • You can't send them as an email
