How to create an account

You will need to create an account to deposit a research paper.

To set up an account go to the 'My Account' menu option on the Research Repository page and click on the 'Register' button.

Use your Melbourne Polytechnic email address.

Step 2: Complete the submission form and Deposit Agreement

Once an account has been created and the repository Administrator assigns the account holder permission to deposit, staff complete a submission form and attach a copy of the research document or publication.  A Deposit Agreement must also be completed as part of the submission process.

When completing the submission form, you will have the option to set an embargo date on your publication to prevent access to your publication until that date.  The publication will not be openly accessible until after that date.

(A sample of the deposit agreement can be found at the bottom of this page.)

Step 3: Approval for inclusion in the Research Repository

The Deposit Agreement, submission form and your publication will be reviewed by the Research Repository Administrator and uploaded to the Repository once approved.
