Swot Analysis

  • Strengths
  • Weaknesses
  • Opportunities
  • Threats.

It is a tool, used to determine an organisation's internal strengths and weaknesses and to identify any external opportunities and threat.

It forms part of the business strategic planning which allows an organisation to maximise its assets while minimising external obstacles that may jeopardise its success.

The Queensland Government's Example SWOT Analysis is a good starting point to gain further understanding about the topic.
