All students and staff must have their ID cards to use library services
CAVAL The free CAVAL program allows Melbourne Polytechnic students and staff to borrow from other Victorian university and TAFE libraries. To obtain a CAVAL card, just visit a participating library and present your Melbourne Polytechnic student or staff card. Use your CAVAL card to borrow from any participating library. To be eligible for a CAVAL Card, Melbourne Polytechnic students must be studying a course of 12 months duration and Cert IV or above. Click here for a list of CAVAL participating libraries.
As the CAVAL program is reciprocal with other Victorian tertiary Institutions, students from these institutes follow a similiar process and set of borrower guidelines.
